James Zuniga, DC serves as an Attending Clinician at Moody Health Center and Assistant Professor at Texas Chiropractic College. He attended Texas State University, where he obtained his BS in Biology and Chemistry in 2010, and Texas Chiropractic College, where he obtained his doctorate in chiropractic (DC) in 2014. With continued perseverance and dedication, he is in the process of earning a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) and Master’s in Health Administration (MHA) degrees from the University of Houston – Clear Lake.
As an evidence-based clinician and educator, Dr. Zuniga focuses on conservative non-invasive therapies to improve the patient’s approach to healthcare and well-being of the musculoskeletal system. He believes that a fully informed and educated patient, with the most up to date research, will make health decisions that will positively impact themselves and their families. In patient centered care, the patient is in the driver’s seat of their health. As a bilingual provider, Dr. Zuniga may serve the patient in the Spanish. Se habla Español.
Dr. Zuniga holds his license in Texas (TBCE), is a member of the American Chiropractic Association (ACA), Texas Chiropractic Association (TCA), Forward Thinking Chiropractic Alliance (FTCA), and Kappa Kappa Psi (AEA!!!).
At the root of his motivation is his family.
